Responsible AI
Synertech Labs uses artificial intelligence in selected products, experiments and digital services. This page explains where AI plays a role, how third-party AI technology is integrated into our solutions, and which parts of these systems are designed and developed by Synertech Labs in Switzerland.
Our use of AI varies according to the product or client project. We aim to make that role clear rather than using AI as a generic label.
Synertech AI Services
Role of AI
AI forms a central part of selected digital services delivered by Synertech Labs.
Technology and Swiss contribution
For these services, we integrate third-party OpenAI models and services with software architecture, application logic and data integrations designed and developed by our team in Switzerland.
Delivery and hosting
The technical architecture and deployment model are defined for each client and project. When Synertech Labs provides the hosting, the application servers and databases are located in Europe.
Model handling and customer data
Synertech Labs does not fine-tune the third-party AI models used in these services. We also do not use customer data to train our own AI models.
IconFlowLabs
Role of AI
Artificial intelligence is a core technology in IconFlowLabs. It powers the generation and refinement of visual assets from user-defined requirements.
Technology and Swiss contribution
IconFlowLabs uses third-party OpenAI generative AI services for image generation and chat. Synertech Labs designs and develops the surrounding software, workflows, application logic and user controls in Switzerland.
This Swiss-developed product layer manages the workflow around AI generation. The underlying third-party AI technology is not presented as technology developed by Synertech Labs.
Hosting and model handling
The IconFlowLabs application servers and databases are hosted in Europe.
Synertech Labs performs no fine-tuning on the third-party OpenAI models used by IconFlowLabs.
KitchenWhizz
Experimental status and role of AI
KitchenWhizz is an experimental Synertech Labs project exploring how AI-assisted services can support recipe creation, pantry-aware suggestions and food-waste reduction.
KitchenWhizz is currently an exploratory project rather than a released commercial product.
Technology and Swiss contribution
The experiment uses third-party OpenAI generative AI services for image generation and chat. Synertech Labs integrates these services with application logic and workflows developed in Switzerland.
Scope of the label
The Swiss Digital Services + AI label therefore refers to the AI design, integration and development services provided by Synertech Labs and demonstrated through this experiment.

The KitchenWhizz application servers and databases are hosted in Europe.
Synertech Labs performs no fine-tuning on the third-party OpenAI models used by KitchenWhizz.
